Technology. A word used to describe the secret weapon of all wars. Technology has always been used to promote the current ongoing war and in my opinion, it should stay this way. In no way should technology ever be used by comrades in order to communicate. This is just abuse of the privilege. Technology allows comrades to gain knowledge, and we all know ignorance is strength. So what might intelligence be? Weakness.
Privacy? I've never even heard of such a word. It is absolute nonsense. Complete rubbish. Outrageous, and most importantly, illogical! How must we help the comrades if we cannot observe their every move? Privacy leads to thoughts. Thoughts are completely unacceptable for they lead to actions. Any action not approved by the government is not at all tolerable. Therefore, privacy is not at all tolerable.
Speaking of government, what is this I hear of them having control? I am, and always be the leader. However, the government does have a bit of authority, just not nearly as much as I. Even the sound of any one having as much power as I is just madness! The government having control ultimately depends on what it is they have control over, and whether it not it will help to create a society that is highly in favor with INGSOC. Because anything besides it is utter buffoonery.
As long as I, Big Brother, remain the only leader, and absolutely NO “privacy” is authorized, then the world will stay directly in tact.
In tact you say?! You and everyone else who's fooled enough to prevent comrades from using technology are scared! Scared that we will obtain enough knowledge to question every move you make, scared that we will all rebel against your ways. Intelligence is YOUR weakness, not ours! The harder you try to keep us from the truth, the harder you try to stray us away from the "buts", it only makes us stronger. Society will once triumph over you, the government, everyone! Technology is one of the most powerful things in the world and once we get our hands on it, there will be no more INGSOC. No more forever ruling government, not even you. Goldstein's acts were a bunch of foolery, we'll show you betrayal. When you least expect it, that's when we'll hit; that's when we'll know that we've won.
